The SAP Talent Visualization application by Nakisa helps expand the power of the SAP ERP Human Capital Management (SAP ERP HCM) solution by making key data accessible in an easy-to-view format. Everyone in the organization has access to organizational data, which greatly improves transparency and increases employee productivity. Professionals can enhance their capabilities in succession management, organizational management, and HCM analytics.
The Succession Planning component coming with version 2.0 of SAP Talent Visualization provides an improved user-experience, enhanced process integration with new Talent Management features like Talent Review Meeting, Talent Profile or Competency Management. Increased integration with SAP backend reduces significantly the implementation costs. It is available for all customers on SAP ERP 6.0 who have installed Enhancement Package 4 and activated Business Function HCM_TMC_CI_1.

- The Technical System Landscape for SAP Talent Visualization by Nakisa requires SAP R/3 Enterprise Core 4.70 or any later release prior to EHP4 for SAP ERP 6.0, leveraging for real-time connectivity the SAP HR Organizational Charting Interface (HR-OCI 4.6 for SAP ERP 4.7 onwards or HR-OCI 6.0 for SAP ERP 6.0).
- The Nakisa application runs on a .Net server
- If Org Modeler is to be implemented, either an MS SQL, DB2 or Oracle database must be used. The other Nakisa applications read and/or store data in SAP HCM, using whatever database is in place with the SAP system. The reason for this is that Org Modeler needs a separate database to store model snapshots of org changes outside of SAP
- If the optional HCM Dashboard component is installed SAP BW 3.5+ is required.
