FULL DESCRIPTION

Rev-Trac is a powerful, highly configurable, change control application for change request and transport management in SAP® solutions, including dual-stack Java change management.

Rev-Trac monitors all changes in an SAP landscape, requiring users to relate each change to a change request. Rev-Trac progresses each change request using the rules, organization model, and approval processes a company has determined is appropriate for each type of change.

Rev-Trac sends workflow prompts and information messages to users defined as having an interest in a change. All rules and processes are fully configurable.

Rev-Trac is especially suited to managing extensive landscapes and can automatically transport changes (CTS, CTS+, and OTO transports) across such landscapes with no need for detailed TMS configuration.

Rev-Trac safeguards the stability and data integrity of SAP solutions by ensuring changes receive the most appropriate approvals, by monitoring exactly what changes are present in test environments (automatically accounting for the effects of copies, refreshes, and restores), and by preemptively blocking transport overtakes and overwrites.

Rev-Trac enforces change control approval processes and provides a complete audit trail of all change activity, satisfying Sarbanes-Oxley compliance requirements.

In addition, Rev-Trac helps organizations control costs associated with changing SAP solutions by eliminating manual approvals, transport sequence checking, and migration.
